Anyone Need A HED C2 Beligum Rim 32H ??? $100 Shipped
Another week of solid training is in the books and it is just in time for my late season Pro races.  This weekend I get the process started with a start at Rev3 Dells.  After pre-riding the course with fellow pro Jackie Arendt this past Friday, I have to say that I am pretty excited to race it.  Rev3 courses, especially the halfs and olympics, are notorious for having challenging bikes and this one has a nice sustained climb midway thru the race that is sure to be a game changer.  Throw in a few technical sections, sprinkle in some wind, heat, and sunshine and we have ourselves a great bike course.  As for the race, I'm not sure what my race plans are and every race I do has a specific purpose besides just finishing.  As a result I am undecided yet if I will actually finish this race, or whether to roll-over the fitness into Louisville.

As for my training... I had a solid week of training, including my highest run volume of the season at 44 miles.  The Achilles seemed to handle the volume pretty well and I do believe the Achilles continues to help me attain better as I am more aware of how I land with each step.  I also got in some solid biking, but, overall, I felt pretty weak in the pool.  As a result of the weak swimming, I decided to throw out the food journal and just nom nom nom to my heart's content.  I have been trying to lean down as much as possible in order to put less pressure on my joints and Achilles, but I'm finding that I am lacking the strength and energy required to do the prescribed swim workouts.  As a result, I may have to make "leaning-up" an off-season goal.

Here are my weekly swimbike, and run totals:
